Brenda's "Texas Wild" Garden

Brenda's "Texas Wild" Garden. Wednesday, August 9, 2017. Another new flower for me, found in Central Texas, the Desert Willow Tree. It has willowy looking leaves and beautiful orchid like flowers. It blooms in summer and is so unique. It is not really a member of the Willow family. Other willows grow near water but this one grows in dry, sandy, loamy soil and is very drought tolerant and thrives in the Texas heat. GOD looked over all that HE had made, and it was excellent in every way.". This was his fav...

Brenda's "Texas Wild" Garden. Monday, April 20, 2015. Last Saturday was my Mother's birthday. She would have been 98. I hope she is looking down from above and sees I am taking care of her flowers. BrendaStidham.com is under construction.again. But that’s not a bad thing. After five years of posting my story, resume, photos, videos, and other ramblings and musings online for the whole world to see, I’ve decided it’s time for a BrendaStidham.com break. I’m in the process of rebuilding the website. I want to give it a fresher look, because, let’s face it, iWeb isn’t actually a thing anymore, so my iWeb-created website looked a bit dated. And I don’t want to look dated. No one does.
