Monday, January 16, 2012. Sneak Peek at Sea World. The first thing we did when getting to Sea World was get in line to feed the dolphins. It was an awesome experience and was something I am so glad I got on "film." I hope the kids look back on this and think it was really cool even when they are teenagers! The shows were fantastic and I have a ton of pictures from those as well as other things we did! It was a GREAT day with great weather and some pretty great kids who were just great! Tuesday, August 30, 2011. I haven't blogged about it, but Austin was diagnosed with ADHD at the end of the last school year. Brian and I have known that this was a possibility for a while, but was hoping we would be able to help him cope with it without going to medication. This just wasn't in the cards. He didn't even get home until after 3:40 most days! The doctor switched things again and we are now trying a patch called Daytrana. We are hopeful that this one will work. Thursday, June 23, 2011. For a bit of time on Tuesday, I thought this photo would be one of the last ones taken of my mom. My sister had called and was sobbing. I won't go into the details of that phone call, but for a split second, I thought she was already gone and the world stopped. Right now, she is in the ICU and they are still unsure of what went wrong. Doctors can't agree and we are waiting on tests. She's able to speak now and is in stable condition, albeit still critical. I have a ton of pictures to post, but my house is in upheaval with lots of toys and some switching around that we are doing, so I haven't been able to do much with the pictures. Brian's family was in town for the last week, so I didn't spend a lot of time on the computer since we always seemed to be on the go or having fun with them. Rest assured that I took pictures though! I ordered potato pancakes with sour cream and fried apple pancakes for Luke and I and they were so, so, so, so stinking good. That was one of the best lunches I've ever had and it made the trip entirely worth it. :) We resumed shopping for another hour and then headed home. Tuesday, January 4, 2011. Our baby is ONE. I can't believe that today is Claire's first birthday! This past year has been AMAZING and sadly has gown too fast. Claire has changed our lives for the better and while she has been learning new things, she has taught Randy and I many new things too! Two most important lessons that Claire has taught us, is unconditional love and PATIENCE. Claire is truly a blessing and I hope that we've been able to show her that and that we can continue to do so.
