He had a party with friends (Tom did a great job creating a scavenger hunt in our yard that lasted about an hour). There were a lot of boys running around, and there was cake and presents. Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Yesterday, Lukas finished his reading lesson book, Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons. I checked with the blog. But about two months ago, he was quite eager to be done with the book (there aren't enough pictures, and they aren't in color) so I came up with a reward to motivate him to continue. Tuesday, July 7, 2009. I'm ecstatic to report that Natalie has started to consistently hold on to a regular swing. She did this for the first time for any length of time at this park where the swings are very low to the ground (makes me less nervous if she falls). And once she showed me she can do it there, I tested her out on the big kid swing at home, and she's done great. When she wants to tell me something, instead of signing it! As retold by Cindy.
