The best way to see this is in the absence of blog posts! Sometimes life is just too busy and too exciting to passively chronicle it on a webpage. Living the moments can, in fact, take up all your time! So, here I am again playing catch up. To be fair it has been an unbelievable few months! Has turned into this:.

Thursday, October 6, 2011. Organic Baker-in-the-works and JOY. So in epic Jones fashion (maiden name if you don't know) I have been on a big project kick of too many things at once. How do I find time? Eh, well.I don't really know. Baking is something I truly enjoy and I have begun to branch out in "natural" fashion to all things homemade. This month I conquered my pancake-phobia and found the PERFECT batter! That means real butter too! Is your mouth watering yet? What a process that is! Thankfully the b...

Monday, April 22, 2013. Isn't Spring just an amazingly awesome thing? We have been up to so much that I feel slightly overwhelmed to write and therefore I have been procrastinating.I am a backslidin' blogger. So I will try in short blurbs to fill you in on what April has been for us. For starters, it is extremely busy for ME! It may have taken a decade, but I am finished with my Undergraduate Degree! In case you feel I forget my husband in my blog, take note! Now on to these guys! I don't know if any of ...

Friday, January 3, 2014. Loss is not something you prepare for or something that you are certain you will handle well when it comes. It comes like a shadow in the night, here and gone in an instant leaving you with an emptiness that cuts deep into your soul. If anyone had told me that growing my family would result in death last spring, I would have thought, noooo.surely not. I mean, I have had 4 children with no losses right? February 11 we would be due. At the hospital, the ultrasound tech smiled a big...

Friday, September 23, 2011. Mile High Lists and Such. So when do you get that fever to carry out change in your home? When can a trip to Michael's lead to more than just a spool of ribbon? Sighthe urge to be crafty hits me, but the talent to do it lags somewhat far behind. However, that doesn't stop me! So, Project 1 I am getting ready to undertake is (drumroll): creating an Eric Carle wonderland of a playroom! First, the problem of what color to paint the walls? After, that I began to wonder? I have so ...

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Every year will always hold new changes that reflect our journey in life.whether they are good or bad, moments that bring happiness or changes that bring years of regret. However, there are those years where you just might feel that all of your world has changed in the span of one small month. That has been our October. Now, that you are interested, here goes. Let me try that again! Our last change came unexpectly and is one of those that will be a life changer perhaps. W...

Friday, August 2, 2013. Odd Rules and a Family Motto. As we begin the final countdown towards a new school year and the end of summer, I cannot help but take a look at all we have accomplished in these few short months. The answer is.not too much! Yes, it was one of those summer's where every plan fell through and each adventure led to many days lounging around the house recouperating. Then it came to me, there are things that you don't get to experience if you keep a busy pace. And it happens most with ...

Thursday, September 15, 2011. This is a special post for all my friends who have asked for my cookie recipe. It was adapted from a recipe I found online a few years ago, I like to consider it my own now, and well the organic twist is DEFINITELY all my own! Follow to the tee, and I better not catch anyone using margarine! 4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped. 1 cup Ghirardelli semisweet. 6 tablespoons organic salted REAL. 3 farm raised vegetarian fed brown eggs. 1 cup Ghirardelli semisweet.
