Maldives Post becomes a partner of Baa Atoll Biosphere Reserve. The partnership agreement was signed at the ceremony held to launch the stamp set and postcard of Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Ms. Hafeeza Ibrahim, Assistant Managing Director signed on behalf of Maldives Post. Ltd while Mr.Thoriq Ibrahim, the Minister of Environment and Energy signed on behalf of Baa Atoll Conservation Fund. Dhigali Haa and Dhigali Giri. Olhugiri Island and its house reef was declared protected on 4th June 2006.
