Mud and Make-up; Puddles and Purses. Living a Life of Perfect Pandemonium. Monday, January 16, 2012. 2 years of Sam. Challenges abound along the road. But, he can change all the frustration or discouragement or irritation you are feeling with one grin, one snuggle, one belly laugh, one garbled string of "words". Samuel is boy through and through and I am so grateful. I'm so blessed to spend my days with this little man. My Sam. Sam, 1 year old. Sam, 2nd birthday. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Mike ...

The Walsh Daily: Fall Soccer- Team Ninjas
http://walshdaily.blogspot.com/2010/09/fall-soccer-team-ninjas.html
Monday, September 27, 2010. Fall Soccer- Team Ninjas. This year for Fall Soccer, Carter was old enough to enter into the "All Boys" league which to a 6 year old boy, is a big deal! Unfortunately, he landed on the team with the only woman coach who was neither a mom or friend of one of the other 6 or 7 year old boys. A little strange but, we both figured we'd have to get over it. The season was only 6 weeks long but was such a huge learning experience. Posted by Our Family. Fall Soccer- Team Ninjas.

The Walsh Daily: August 2010
http://walshdaily.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 16, 2010. In the close of the last post, I mentioned that we all left Alabama early due to an unfortunate reason. My Grandmother who had been battling with Pancreatic Cancer for 2 years had passed away the day before and we were flying back to attend her memorial service. I remember driving down the Alabama side road smiling and saying out loud, "Praise the Lord! Her memorial service was just as she would have wanted it, with all of the family there and with beautiful flowers! It was hard ...

The Walsh Daily: Home at Last!
http://walshdaily.blogspot.com/2010/09/home-at-last.html
Wednesday, September 01, 2010. After a very loooonnnngggg 8 weeks away from our house, we finally made it back to Idaho during the first week of September. Though our travels and time away was filled with some great (and not so great . hint: roaches) memories, it was amazing to be back in the comforts of our own home. We had a busy month ahead of us so for the remainder of the week and weekend, we tried to enjoy the last few days of summer and being together in our home, together as a family.

Mud & Make-up; Puddles & Purses: December 2010

Mud and Make-up; Puddles and Purses. Living a Life of Perfect Pandemonium. Friday, December 24, 2010. Christmas Eve Eve Service- Advent Calendar Day 23. Eva pulled a little church shrinky dink out of the pocket yesterday, symbolizing one of our favorite Christmas traditions: attending the Christmas Eve (or in this case, Eve Eve) service at our church. This year, Eva got to participate by singing a song with her friends on stage. It was absolutely hysterical. Here is the proof. Eva is equally confused.

Rory, Lorna, Keelie and Clayton: 11/01/2010 - 12/01/2010

Rory, Lorna, Keelie and Clayton. Saturday, November 20, 2010. I decided to buy an assortment of cloth diapers and stick it out for a month or two before I made a final decision on whether or not it seemed worth the effort. The first week was very difficult (mainly because I didn't have enough for a full day and had to do laundry 2 - 3 times a day! I will have to post some photos of my cute little creations later, but now I must go to bed after thinking about diapers all day long! Our Trip to Oregon.

Rory, Lorna, Keelie and Clayton. Saturday, March 19, 2011. Keelie loves to say uh oh, but she always uses it at the appropriate time.except for when she intentionally throws things down for the sake of being able to say Uh Oh. Then she would give a half-hearted smile. When I explained to Rory what Keelie was doing as he was doing all of this he looked up at her and told her that her new little baby brother or sister was in Mommy's tummy, her first reaction was wide eyes and an enthusiastic "Uh OH! Keelie...

Rory, Lorna, Keelie and Clayton. Sunday, November 1, 2009. Orlando, Here We Come. The job is practically Rory's dream job, he will be working with GIS (geographic information systems) and Remote Sensing, which is what he studied in college and came away from it for a while to explore other computer programming options, but this is his real passion. I am so proud of him being able to teach himselft so many new programming languages, but I really am proudest of him getting his dreams figured out. We are an...
