A Meeting with the Magnificent Blue Nawab Caterpillar - The Nawab. The word "Nawab" is a Urdu word, borrowed via Persian from the Arabic, being the honorific plural of naib i.e. 'deputy' and the caterpillar we met that fine morning was nothing less than a deputy or the Nawab in the Caterpillar Family. So I have been telling my macro brother Faiz ( mirrorlessmacro.blogspot.sg. March 2015 - Nature's Amore Photography

http://naturesamore.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

A Night out with Exotic Bugs. This is one place I wanted to go and explore as this is one of the untouched places in Singapore and I was sure that it will be a Mini hot spot of Biodiversity and it did not disappoint us. We took the last ferry out of Singapore to this place and reached our destination by 6:00 PM and by the time we set up our Tent for over night camping and cooked our food it was already 9:00 PM and I was feeling a bit restless as it was still an hour to go before we start shooting. We saw...

The Hunt - Nature's Amore Photography

http://naturesamore.blogspot.com/2014/09/the-hunt.html

By hunt I don't mean that we go out hunting for these creators but I mean to search for these critters in the forest. They might be anywhere on a leaf, on the ground. On a tree trunk, behind the leaf. A Wanderer on the Ground. They are everywhere it's just that you need to patiently look and have a keen eye for any movement. Some are easily visible and some are completely camouflaged. They will be right there in front of you but you will not be able to spot. Right in front of the Beast of the Macro world.

Bugs and Insects of Singapore. The Wild Side of Singapore (SG50). August 7, 2015. August 7, 2015. When people talk about wildlife in Singapore, they tend to focus on the bigger, rarer and unique animals such as crocodiles, otters, monitor lizards, long-tailed macaque, flying lemurs, etc., which was exactly what CNA did in their 2-part Wild City documentary show superbly done and narrated by the legendary Sir David Attenborough. Stopp i avloppet tips. Stopp i avloppet tips. Tack grabbar! 15 mars, 2016. 10 mars, 2016.
