Follow these basic steps to attach a file to an outgoing email. 1 From your Inbox, click on Compose. 2 Click on Attach a file. 3 A Choose file. Window will pop up. Click on the drop down arrow to the right of the Look in. Area Click on the place on your computer where your file resides (. 4 You will see a list of files. Click on the one you wish to attach. Click Open. Button before the file will be attached to your email.
