Speaking of the coconuts, the crows discovered how to pull the coconut up to the feeder and stand on the string I put a stop to this by wiring the bottom of the coconut down to the pole. It’s all go! Our Life In French. La Vie Rurale (Rural Life). Up and down weather kept us from completing more tasks but we seem to have accomplished a great deal in the last month. Our Life In French. Road Trip to Spain and Portugal #1 post. January 26, 2014. We are off on another RV adventure, this time we are staying ‘on the continent’ visiting Spain and Portugal. We have been in Spain before but never Portugal. The weather was atrocious. It rained for kilometers on end. Our destination was Zarautz which is high up the mountains only 345 kms from our house. The wind turbines were partially covered with cloud and mist with only two arms visible at a time created quite the illusion.
