latoya: D.I.Y Floral Halo
http://lah-toy-ah.blogspot.com/2012/04/diy-floral-halo.html
Monday, April 23. Hello my fellow readers! Welcome to my first DIY and hopefully not the last. Here's the story to what inspired me to make this wonderful floral halo. So me, my girl Kimiya and my good girlfriend Sherri from sherriamour. Went shopping and spotted so many fun floral headbands. But they were foolishly priced from $5-$10 bucks (A little too rich for my blood) So I decided to go out to my good ole dollarstore, purchase a few bunches of flowers and make my own halo! 8 And your done! 24 April ...

latoya: Jamaican Queens
http://lah-toy-ah.blogspot.com/2012/01/these-jamaican-bred-beauts-have-been.html
Saturday, January 14. These Jamaican bred beauts have been gracing the runways, ad campaigns and editorials like crazy in the past few years alone and I love it! Makes me proud to be a Jamaican. It was hard for me to narrow down my top faves but here they are. Starting with the one girl I'm sure everybody knows. Gracing her alluring face in ads like the GAP to Tommy Hilfiger. Former #1 model in the world. This stunning gal possessing gazelle-like features was named Caribbean's first supermodel.

Thursday, June 7. Throwback Thrusday: Gene Kelly - I Like Myself. I'm taking my throwback to the cinema. I absolutely LOVE old movies and "It's Always Fair Weather" is one of my faves. This particular scene in the movie gives me such a warm, delighted feeling that I can't help but put quite the rather large smile on my face :D For real! I think I watch this at least once a day for a good pick me up. Gene Kelly is boss on them skates! I'd like to see BrakeSk8 try this! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://lah-toy-ah.blogspot.com/2012/05/on-street-tomas-hurlburt.html
Monday, May 7. On the Street: Tomas Hurlburt. Had ourselves quite the lengthy conversation about his style and love for music. He actually plays guitar for a local band here in Winnipeg called Hey pilgrim. He is officially my new favorite red head, which is ironically the title of one of their songs.
