So, today I was teaching some kids how to order foods like barbecue ribs, pork chops, grilled chicken, all those things that they don't eat here in Japan and that these kids probably won't ever eat unless they go abroad, and by the time they actually go abroad, they won't remember this lesson anyway.you know, stuff like that. I show them a card. "Ok, what's this? Uhh, nope. French fries! They cry in the heat of battle. They call back in a triumphant chorus.

My week in charlotte has been the best one of the past few years. it's consisted of reconnecting with old friends and spending time with the v kids. there's also been some reflection time, as these last fews days before the beginning of a semester tend to have. This clip's audio straddles the line between Safe for Work and Not Safe for Work, so I'd turn the speakers down a bit before viewing. Yesterday I grilled up almost 4 pounds of juicy and delicious rosemary chicken, Steven and I ate it for dinner and then had tons of leftovers for lunches for the week! Today for lunch I used the chicken to make a yummy chicken melt.
