Catrina's Journey for a Cure. Thursday, December 1, 2011. 31 days, 31 dollars, 131 people. It’s almost 2012 and Tracy and I are more determined than ever to help find a cure for ALL cancers. We are IN IT, TO END IT! That is why we are taking on the Boston Marathon in April 2012. Tracy will be running and I will be volunteering and together we have set a goal to raise $8,000 to benefit the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I think maybe I’m another year older and sillier! Yep, that sounds better! I took a look back over the year and here is what I’ve been up to:. Walked, ran and trained almost 600 miles according to my trusty Garmin Watch. Volunteered for the Boston Marathon and raised funds for Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Painted with a Twist.
