The bulk of RC&A's flight services are performed by fixed-wing aircraft. Each ship has been extensively modified to accept gyro-stabilized camera systems as well as other remote sensing instruments. RC&A operates 10 fixed-wing, twin engine aircraft (7 Piper Navajos and 3 Piper Aztecs). All aircraft are equipped with Track'air flight management systems and will accept the latest dual frequency GPS or Glonass receivers. 2) 325 HP six cylinder turbo-charged Lycomings. 200 knots (230 mph). 160 knots (185 mph).

The Jet Ranger is equipped with a Racal Landstar differential GPS correction system for precise navigation. Scale (altitude) is maintained with the use of a radar altimeter, as regular pressure altimeters do not allow for sufficient accuracy at altitudes less than 500 feet.
