A Day in the Life. Mommy blog about family. Saturday, August 27, 2011. Daddy's new toy, and flexible boy! Daddy was given a giant Playstation 2 controller for a birthday present by his brother yesterday, and Mason thought it was great! He got to play with it with Daddy for awhile, and had a good time. Then we noticed that he was practically doing the splits against it. And Mike wondered if he could do the splits all the way. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Lilypie - First Birthday. A Day in the Life: Summer fun
http://cbelle-adayinthelife.blogspot.com/2013/07/summer-fun.html
A Day in the Life. Mommy blog about family. Monday, July 22, 2013. Our couch is really annoying. It has a set up where things can fall into a part of the couch we can't get into. We had to cut it open and use velcro to hold it together afterwards, to get out the cars and the remote control. Mason was sooo excited when he realized we were getting the cars out and he lined them all up. We got a sand box for Mason. At first he wouldn't get in it, he stood at the edge and carefully played. Im finally getting...

A Day in the Life: July 2014

A Day in the Life. Mommy blog about family. Saturday, July 12, 2014. Kitchen Remodel Part 3: Finishing up. We hired a contractor to help install the cabinets and countertop because Mike had never done anything like it, and we were glad we did. It was more complicated than we thought. The sink fit perfect, fortunately. We still have the cut out piece, we need to make a desk or something with it. The cabinets were new too, but budget new. But it looks good. We used what was left of the birch panel to m...

A Day in the Life: Baby Margie's Birth
http://cbelle-adayinthelife.blogspot.com/2014/12/baby-margies-birth.html
A Day in the Life. Mommy blog about family. Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Baby Margie is finally here! And here is her birth story. Waiting for the midwife. About fifteen minutes before baby showed. It, I don't believe this! It was just so fast, and I didn't get to go in the tub at all. I figured it would be fast, because Aiden was about three hours of labor that I was aware of, but I didn't expect it to be that. Fast She was born at 11:14 pm. Margie on the bed with Mommy right after birth. The boys had no ...

A Day in the Life: Aiden's birth story
http://cbelle-adayinthelife.blogspot.com/2012/08/aidens-birth-story.html
A Day in the Life. Mommy blog about family. Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Before dinner, my father-in-law gave me another blessing, with the help of Mike, Jeff, and Mike's grandpa, who was visiting for the wedding. We ate dinner, said goodbye to the family and Mason, and went to the hospital. We texted Mike's brother around 5:30 to tell him that if Alexis was going to be there, she needed to come soon. He decided to drop her off before work, which was a good choice. She was there around 6. Glad to hear that ...

3 Shinsels (grew to 5): October 2014
http://the3shinsels.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
3 Shinsels (grew to 5). Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Chill in the Air. It is starting to get a little chilly here in NC. Dorothy had to be bundled up for our walk one morning. Like most things, she didn't seem to mind! She isn't crawling, but she can get where she wants by rolling around it scooting in her bum. She has 2 teeth now, and is almost 20 pounds (75th percentile). I was cooking in the kitchen and she rolled all the way over to me from the other room. Bring on more of this weather! The boys are ...

3 Shinsels (grew to 5): Happy Half-Birthday!
http://the3shinsels.blogspot.com/2015/07/happy-half-birthday.html
3 Shinsels (grew to 5). Sunday, July 19, 2015. I'm still in denial, but Dorothy celebrated her half-birthday this month. She doesn't look like a baby anymore; she is totally a toddler with her own personality! This picture is from her first day of nursery at church. She is doing well, especially when they pull snacks out. The ladies have said she gets upset when the door opens and closes. She is still not saying a ton, but we have heard her say brother and broom, so I know she can do it! Family Fun.F...

3 Shinsels (grew to 5). Monday, July 28, 2014. We only have a month before I have to send Lincoln to kindergarten! Before I throw up at that thought, I need to recap all of our Summer fun so far. I was super brave and flew with the kids all by myself to Denver. Dave had a business trip planned, so we tagged along. The Young family didn't mind! In fact, they were amazing hosts. The kids got along so well! I love this sweet picture of Will with Dorothy. Luke put up a good fight, but sleep finally won!

3 Shinsels (grew to 5): Summer Fun
http://the3shinsels.blogspot.com/2015/07/summer-fun.html
3 Shinsels (grew to 5). Sunday, July 5, 2015. I have been loving the summer! Our days have been flying by. Here's what we have been up to:. I knew I would constantly be asked when screen time was, so I made this chart for the boys. The pictures help Drake, since he can't read yet. We have had friends over to play on our big water slide. After nap time, we go to the pool in the afternoon. Drake had swim lessons earlier this year, but he still has to wear his floaties. I wasn't nervous about leaving the ki...
