Chad and Kati's Wedding. June 18th, 2011. Our First Visit to The Headlands. We couldn't believe it when we stumbled upon this little slice of heaven in the woods! You will be on the lookout for this sign at the entrance to The Healdlands. The Beach and Guest Houses are located on beautifel Lake Michigan and are surrounded by 660 acres of pristine woodlands with marked hiking trails. Watch for native species of bald eagles, osprey, white tail deer, wild turkeys, coyotes and occasionally a black bear.

Wow, so its been a few months since I have updated our blog :) I will spare you all an update of the past year and a half by saying this: Life has been good.for the most part! My horrible pregnancy, not so good. The outcome, good! Major breathing through two more sets of contractions until the doctor arrived, then one more push and he was here! Olivia is the best big sister and loves Cooper more than anything!
