a little something...: December 2009
http://a1ittlesomething.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Yesterday we visited an amazing antique shop, largely populated by all sorts of strange rusty bits of old farm equipment, vintage bikes, old gates and other interesting pieces (it's called The Rustic Gallery for anyone in Perth). I found these lovely 40's scales (without the pan, but I liked them anyway). I loved the colours, the minty green and bright red, and couldn't resist. Posted by a little something. Unchartered territory but the end result was amazing! A CUP OF JO.

a little something...: October 2009
http://a1ittlesomething.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 18, 2009. I am super excited to be going to Melbourne next week for a bit of a family catch up and some shopping time! I have done the usual touristy things on past trips so am hoping to compile some sort of list of cute little places/shops to visit that I have never stumbled upon before (which is probably most of them! I am taking much inspiration from Angela's wonderful blog Open. And will be taking notes from this before I leave! I would much appreciate it. Posted by a little something.

a little something...: January 2010
http://a1ittlesomething.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 2, 2010. Time for the beach. This morning we got up uncharacteristically early and headed to the beach with some friends. We don't live anywhere near the beach so it is a small mission, but despite the drive, was well worth it. I personally haven't been for a swim for probably a few years (embarrassing to admit living in a place with some of the world's most beautiful beaches) but I think my connection to the ocean has been reawakened! a little something...: November 2009
http://a1ittlesomething.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 15, 2009. My place and yours. I've decided to join Pip of Meet Me At Mike's. My Place and Yours. As it seems like lots of fun and the themes so far have been really interesting! This week's theme is. Through The Front Door. Chosen by Femme De Montmartre. My favourite new addition to this room is the empty frame on the wall, which I recently inherited from my Aunty and used to belong to my Grandma. It is beautifully hand painted and I'm so pleased to have it! Posted by a little something.

a little something...: holiday chutney...
http://a1ittlesomething.blogspot.com/2009/12/holiday-chutney.html
Wednesday, December 30, 2009. I have not blogged for so long, there has been so much happening and Blogland has taken a backseat, but I've returned and am so glad to be back. I think I have a lot of catching up to do on all of your lovely blogs too. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. My man has been busily making chutney today, using a bucketful of organic tomatoes from our garden. We had so many and needed to do something with them, so he came up with the fabulous idea of making tomato chutney!

a little something...: those summer niiiiiiiiights...
http://a1ittlesomething.blogspot.com/2010/01/those-summer-niiiiiiiiights.html
Friday, January 1, 2010. Why can't it be summer all year? Why can't we be on holidays all year? Surely this is how life should be? I dread to think how things must go back to normal next week. No more sleep-ins, no more lazy breakfasts, no more seeing what the day brings. Work and routine will return. Sigh. I hope you are all enjoying some lazy holiday time? Happy New Year everyone.
