He was telling me he is moving to Eagle Base which is along the Euphrates River. Not sure how long he will be there, but he says he’s ready to go. On to 29 Palms. June 18, 2010. Chris has one more year in the Marines. I know he’s counting down the days just as much if not more than I am. Right now his Afghanistan training has him in 29 Palms California, in the dry hot desert. He told me it’s been in the 120’s most of the time he has been there.
