So it was really much too nice out Friday morning to miss an opportunity to walk to our park and adjoining duckpond, so we changed our school plans for the morning and made it a "Duck Day". Bethany took pictures of the ducks we saw.and a few of her brothers. Then we went home and researched a bit about ducks. Then Beth wrote some of what she learned. Bethany drew a picture of a duck! And that is how our "too-beautiful-to-stay-inside" school day went on Friday :).

Monday, October 27, 2008. Something fun to do with your kids. Gingerbread Play Dough Recipe. 1 1/2 tsp each of Ground Cloves, Allspice, Ginger, and Cinnamon. 1 Tbsp Vegetable oil. Mix the ingredients in a bowl. Knead until smooth. Store in an airtight container; Refrigerate until ready to use. That way if you kids decide to eat playdough at least you know it's edible! Friday, March 18, 2011. Day 18 The Ugly Truth. This is me 2 years ago after I worked hard losing 30 lbs. I still had a ways to go but was working very hard at it and was very happy with myself and feeling so good and healthy. This is me 2 years later.I put all that weight back on and feel so ashamed. I know there is no excuse yet, I have every excuse in the book. Thursday, March 3, 2011. Day 3 of 100. I will post them this week, at day 50 and again at day 100! Tuesday, March 1, 2011. Day 1, 99 to go!

Monday, November 10, 2008. My mom got the chance to fly up for a few days to see her newest grandbaby. Elijah sure enjoyed getting to see his grandma and showing off his new brother. here's a few pics from her visit. Hard to believe Samuel is already 7 weeks old. Time sure flies by quickly!
