El Pueblo de la Reina de Los Angeles is founded by Governor Felipe de Neve. George Washington is inaugurated as the first President of the United States. The Bill of Rights is ratified. Thomas Jefferson is elected President. The discovery of gold. At Sutter's Mill starts the California gold rush. This brings people from all over the world including Chinese.
