And even food that doesn’t strive to stick to traditions, featuring all sorts of modern twists. I also heard Catalan spoken more often than Spanish, rounding out the feeling that Barcelona was a place distinct from the rest of Spain. An endless variety of tapas, for just over a euro a piece.
