Life in Progress: Bikram Yoga
https://chufford.blogspot.com/2012/06/bikram-yoga.html
Attempts to create a life after college. Thursday, June 21, 2012. The whole house buying thing has been stressful, so I've been trying to find ways to work that stress off through exercise. Plus, the cruise to Bermuda was not nice on my waistline. I'm going to stick with yoga for 20 classes. I have 19 more to go before the end of August, which means about 2X a week max, and if I go more, I'll be done with my Groupon faster. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Cooking - Engineering Style.

Attempts to create a life after college. Tuesday, May 04, 2010. Posted in her blog - and I thought I should post in mine. I've had a lot going on in my life in the last 9 months and writing in a blog has not been a priority. I pestered my boyfriend into running the race with me. We ran last weekend - and I think I almost broke him. Work is going well - it's been really crazy - hopefully I'll be able to say more in a few weeks. Plus I convinced a guy I really didn't like working with that it would be ...
Life in Progress: September 2014

Attempts to create a life after college. Tuesday, September 02, 2014. Chip and Pin Cards. Do you know what's crazy to me? It's the chip and pin cards that our european counterpart adopted many years ago and have become standard in the EU. If you've been anywhere in western Europe in the last 5 years, you know how difficult it can be (especially outside of large cities) to make purchases with a standard US credit card that doesn't use chip and pin technology. Why don't we get them? Some Guy in Cambridge.

Attempts to create a life after college. Thursday, September 29, 2011. I love reading books on my Kindle. I even made up a song. It goes like "my kindle., my kindle., I love. my kindle. I have read books with backlit screens before and they never satisfied - your eyes just got tired after 30-60 minutes. With the e-ink screens - reading experience is much better. Plus the auto-downloading of books - awesome. So easy to do. I figured out how to download library books - SWEET! My friends put up with a lot.

Engineering Treats: Fancy Corn Chowder
http://engineeringtreats.blogspot.com/2009/01/fancy-corn-chowder.html
Designing and simplifying process to make tasty treats for cooking enthusiasts and engineers alike. Sunday, January 25, 2009. I love corn chowder. Love it. This recipe is a little fancy - IE takes some time and work. But it is amazingly delicious. Start by finely chopping up some bacon and cooking it until crisp. You want to make sure it is crispy before you move forward, otherwise your bacon will be soggy at the end. And no one likes soup with soggy bacon. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Whisk until smooth. Pour over bacon pieces in the pan. Bake 30 minutes. Cut into about 8 rectangular pieces. Eat with syrup and/or homemade jam.

Then use pita bread as pizza crust, add some tomato sauce as a base, then some mozorella. Put the chicken/pepper/mushroom/cilantro combination on top. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Freaking delicious and it smells amazing between the peanut oil and cilantro. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Designing and simplifying process to make tasty treats for cooking enthusiasts and engineers alike. Thursday, October 2, 2008. Spinach and Ham Quiche. I love quiche. But only every once in a while. I'm not a huge egg fan. It is pretty simple though. At the grocery store buy: A ham steak, 8oz package of gureye. Cheese, 4 eggs, milk, fresh spinach, onion, and refrigerated pie crust. In a skillet put in a pat of butter and saute up those onions! After 40 minutes remove the foil and continue baking about 5-1...
