Shooting SA: First Maglite Shoot of the Year
http://shootingsa.blogspot.com/2014/01/first-maglite-shoot-of-year.html
Thursday, January 23, 2014. First Maglite Shoot of the Year. Making it another all shooting weekend. Sometimes Richard does not want to go and shoot the fun shoots on his own and I get invited just for the laugh. Maglite shoots are always super fun where most of the shooters don't take the competition too serious and just enjoy their sport and the company of their old pals. The Wattlespring members must have been really hungry to shoot as 63 shooters turned up - more than a third more than was expected.

Time For Us Now: Emseni Retreat
http://timeforusnow.blogspot.com/2013/09/emseni-retreat.html
Time For Us Now. After 15 years of a very exciting life on a farm in Mpumalanga, South Africa doing school camps and working with hundreds upon hundreds of school kids, we are on the verge of a major change in our lives. Can't wait to see what lies ahead for us. September 10, 2013. A day of quiet in my busy life. It is food for my soul. Many things to ponder over and great relief when I just once again realize that I do not have to do life on my own. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Rich Ranch The Farm.

http://shootingsa.blogspot.com/2013/12/golden-city-shooting-club.html
Sunday, December 8, 2013. Golden City Shooting Club. Saturday saw the last club shoot of the year at Golden City Shooting Club. Normally we shoot both Saturday and Sunday but this was a one day shoot only so the shooters were double what we normally are. Just a short shoot of 6 stages - 114 shots but loads of fun once again. In our detail we again met guys that we had not shot with before. Thanks Justin, Kristy, Grant, Alex - you were real fun to shoot with. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Shooting SA: Golden City Club Shoot
http://shootingsa.blogspot.com/2013/11/golden-city-club-shoot.html
Thursday, November 14, 2013. Golden City Club Shoot. A Tiny Slit To Shoot Through. Whoop Whoop - One of my favourite days. We received notification for the club shoot with the heading "Balls to the Wall". 6 Stages and you need 240 rounds of ammo. Normally with a 6 stage shoot we would need between 150 and 170 rounds so this sounded like we were going to do some serious shooting. RO Keeping a Watchful Eye. There were 6 stages of 40 rounds each. Each shooter had a different outlook on the stage.

http://travelingandholidays.blogspot.com/2012/03/traveling-and-holidays-cape_25.html
Sunday, March 25, 2012. Traveling and Holidays - The Cape. Graaff Reinet Methodist Church. The Famous NG Kerk Graaff Reinet. We attended the service at the Methodist Church this morning and took in a few of the sites in the city. The most grand NG Kerk with loads of history attached. We decided to set off for home as there is not really anything between Graaff Reinet. It's been a super experience. Very tiring but we need to get back for some very important business. Saturday, March 24, 2012. Traveling and Holidays - The Cape. A Dark Day In Mosselbay. So we thought Swellendam was going to be the overnight but decided against it and pushed onto Mosselbay. We battles a bit to get accommodation as there was some tennis tournament but eventually landed up at Eldrew B&B. Now of all the B&B's we have stayed at we found the worst so far on this trip. It was the most expensive so far as well. We will stay her tomorrow and visit the sights. A King Size Bed For Tonight.

Friday, September 14, 2012. Travelling and Holidays at Dullstroom. Highland Rose Cover In Fog This Morning. This morning we woke up to dense fog. We could not see across the road it was so thick. Another scrumptious breakfast with fruit cocktail and mushroom and cheese omelette for breakfast brought our stay at the Highland Rose to a close. The Warmth of Highland Rose. We will remember these few days for a long time. Now its back to work. As the schools start rolling in. We really are blessed.

We started off looking for a map of the Midlands Meander and eventually bought one from the War Museum in Howick. And then off to Karkloof. All in all the scenery made for for anything else that went down this afternoon. We still had loads of fun. Tomorrow we will be leaving but we have only good memories of Howick and the Midlands Meander. The Start Of our Holiday. We ha...

Traveling And Holidays: It's the Cape - Traveling and Holidays
http://travelingandholidays.blogspot.com/2012/03/its-cape-traveling-and-holidays.html
Wednesday, March 21, 2012. It's the Cape - Traveling and Holidays. So we decided and it's the Cape that won. Via Kimberley We Will Go. It’s been ten months since our last break away, so here we are on the road down to the Cape. I personally have not been to Cape Town since 1982 which means I am in for a serious surprise. Can you imagine how it has changed over the last 30 years? I can’t wait – but our plan is to take a leisurely drive down and stop at all the interesting spots along the way.
