Between Two Worlds: November 2005

http://clintdavis.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html

Calling attention to the big gap between the riches of America and the poverty of Africa and the need for effective development ministry. Tuesday, November 22, 2005. Obviously helping people out of poverty in Africa is a primary concern of mine. I don't want it to be just talk, I want to see some action. Kibo Group was formed during the latter part of my days in Africa and I believe it has a great future. Kibo has been a slowly evolving non-profit that we are soaking in prayer. Tuesday, November 01, 2005.

Calling attention to the big gap between the riches of America and the poverty of Africa and the need for effective development ministry. Tuesday, April 19, 2005. Thank you note from Sarah Bizzu. Well, I give my gratitude to you and all your church mates. Thanks to God who has kept you guys over those ends. Send my warm greetings to all those there. Well, about my interests, I like volleyball, singing, dancing, making friends, chatting, reading novels and watching movies. I have no boyfriend, it's qu...

Calling attention to the big gap between the riches of America and the poverty of Africa and the need for effective development ministry. Wednesday, June 29, 2005. Roz, Volvo and Live8. Volvo is doing this as they gave their Volvo for Life Award to Roz last year for living a great life of service. Usually they give the recipients a Volvo for life! Since that is not real feasible for Roz in Rwanda, they have given a very large sum to the orphanage on her behalf. Posted by Clint @ 6/29/2005. There are so m...

Calling attention to the big gap between the riches of America and the poverty of Africa and the need for effective development ministry. Wednesday, March 30, 2005. I knew there was a Foundation created a few years ago to secure the future of Roz' Imbabazi Orphanage in Gisenyi, Rwanda, but I never dreamed of being a member of it! This is another door I believe God flew open on my trip. I'm not sure what God has in mind here but we'll see where He takes it next! Posted by Clint @ 3/30/2005. This year is n...

Calling attention to the big gap between the riches of America and the poverty of Africa and the need for effective development ministry. Sunday, March 08, 2009. Briley and I are busy packing up for another trip to Africa. This will be my first in over two years and it will be Briley's first return trip since we moved home six years ago. We can't wait to get there. We hope to accomplish several things while we're there for about 2 weeks. Observe the various Kibo Group. Posted by Clint @ 3/08/2009. It is ...

I don't know so I can use all the help I can get! Friday, June 27, 2008. In context or out? James 4:17 Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin. I often know the right thing to do and don't do it. I am a sinner. When I habitually ignore the right thing to do, what does that make me? I will explain more later . . . perhaps. I don't know so I can use all the help I can get! Saturday, August 02, 2008. Changing or Unchanging - Let Me Try Again. I am convinced my point didn't come across last time. I don't think my beliefs should not change. I can't even come close to perfect knowledge of God. What I am guilty of and what I think the Church is guilty of is blatantly telling others that our beliefs are right. We are so proud of ourselves and so full of ourselves. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I don't know so I can use all the help I can get! Saturday, December 01, 2007. I don't know so I can use all the help I can get! Monday, May 26, 2008. I read this quote this afternoon describing Jesus' church. The reason it is true is because it describes me. The hands and feet of the body of Christ have been amputated, and we've been pretty much reduced to a big mouth.". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). There was an error in this gadget. I don't know so I can use all the help I can get! Wednesday, February 21, 2007. How do you know if your faith is growing? How do you know your faith is growing? How do you measure faith growth? Tuesday, February 13, 2007. Work Out Your Own Salvation? I don't think going it alone in trying to become transformed into the image of Christ is a good idea. I don't know so I can use all the help I can get! Thursday, April 24, 2008. I have often been frustrated with the sense that one "arrives" . . . be that when baptized, saved, etc. I recently got a new Bible and switched versions to the NASB. I had a list of preferences, which included "non-reference". I saw something the other day which made me grateful I had the references. Acheivable goal here on earth? I am in need of much renovation. There is a blueprint to follow! Wednesday, April 02, 2008. Why were...

I don't know so I can use all the help I can get! Sunday, March 04, 2007. Gratitud - Dos Parte. During church this morning, it struck me that we, the individuals which make up the bride of Christ, can tell if we have love from ego or love from the heart. Am I grateful for Jesus love? Am I overwhelmed that God chose to use Jesus so he could share life together with me? Saturday, March 03, 2007. From Donald Miller's book. To Own a Dragon. I don't know so I can use all the help I can get! Sunday, July 13, 2008. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Each time, I try to convince others of what I believe. I. If my beliefs regarding a never changing God change, what makes me think I am even in the ballpark with my beliefs? GOD never changes, but, thankfully, WE do! Or at least we should! If we stayed the same, that would just be sad. Thanks for always challenging yourself and me. Truth to us, our.
