A year (almost) in Japan…. Laura's expat adventures in and around Tokyo. And I’m home…. A lifetime (mostly) in Boston…. May 27, 2011. What do I miss? I’ve answered this question at least 15 times since coming home and can’t say I have a concise response yet…but here’s the initial list:. My friends and karaoke partners – the reintroduction to Duran Duran (among other old school bands) is irreplaceable. The food. Pretty much ANY of it, but amazing sushi tops the list. The clean bathrooms and fancy toilets.
