Has been my primary (if intermittent) review-site since 2006. For a while it was a standalone monthly review; then it was a part of the tcj.com empire; and now it is a personal review journal, mostly highlighting comics I enjoy. I have been writing a regular review column for Public Books. As faculty liaison at the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum at Ohio State I help out with exhibitions and campus and community outreach and tend the new guttergeek browsing library in the reading room.

Comics Ate My Brain | Obtuse verbosity on demand.
Comics Ate My Brain. November 5, 2015. 8216;Crisis’ at 30, Part 12. 8212; Tom Bondurant @ 9:00 am. Someday this war’s going to end, laments Robert Duvall’s Col. Kilgore to conclude his memorable joyride through 1979’s. Similarly, as we come to the final issue of. Crisis On Infinite Earths. I find myself longing (just a little) for more panels overstuffed with characters, more conversationally-expository dialogue, and even more stakes-raising plot twists. Had to end sometime.
