A brief account of the things that happen in my life in between my many loads of laundry. Saturday, November 05, 2005. I'm not feeling creative today. In all honesty, I don't think I feel creative on any day. I'm too tired to think of a funny title. Anyway, on to todays news. I just remembered - -I was feeling creative one day! Loads of Laundry: October 2005
http://loadsoflaundry.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
A brief account of the things that happen in my life in between my many loads of laundry. Wednesday, October 19, 2005. Put your reading glasses on, I have a lot to say today. Either my life is really boring or really busy since I seem to write only once a month. I have a month's worth of junk to talk about today though. Next topic: Parenting Dilemma (Again purely hypothetical - -no reference to any real person is intended). Posted by Because I Said So @ 2:24 PM. Because I Said So. Georgia, United States.

matthew18five: Matthew 18:5
http://matthew18five.blogspot.com/2007/02/matthew-185.html
A blog about adoption. Wednesday, February 21, 2007. I came across this yesterday during my Bible reading:. Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me. Second, my wife would like to have a girl (or two). Now, at first glance this seems to be a shallow want. But if you look at it, this family has a lot to offer. A girl in today's world could do a lot worse than to have a new dress every month (week? And we'll receive that child (or children) in His name, just like He said. But I've always want...

Patti's Ponderings
http://ponderingpatti.blogspot.com/2007/11/my-son-in-law-wont-read-my-blog.html
As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I will be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness. Psm 17:15. Monday, November 5, 2007. My son-in-law won't read my blog. He says it is too long. Make it in two parts. Tried, it didn't work. Read it in two sittings! The Angels Kiss Us While We Sleep…. You know the ones. On one occasion, we were encouraged to leave the fitting rooms at our local department store because the fitting room attendant was fearful of so many children. We all felt out numbere...

matthew18five: 8 Passenger Seating
http://matthew18five.blogspot.com/2007/02/8-passenger-seating.html
A blog about adoption. Thursday, February 22, 2007. So, if you have 4 kids already, and 2 adults, and you plan on adding 2 more kids, that gives you 8 passengers total. Interesting note: most minivans and large SUV's built in the last 15 years max out at 7 passengers. This includes our current family car, a 2001 Honda Odyssey. Ah, the contusions. Aye, but there's the rub. Guess what seats 8 folks (or more) very nicely? How about the Honda Odyssey? The newer models (2004 ) have an optional 8th seat, but i...

matthew18five: Baby Steps
http://matthew18five.blogspot.com/2007/02/baby-steps.html
A blog about adoption. Wednesday, February 21, 2007. As in What About Bob? Not as in "Hey! We're getting a baby! Bah Me with my double-meaning titles. Such confusion. Anyway, last night was our first official meeting in the whole adoption process. It was the Orientation Meeting for the State Adoption Program at Bethany Christian Services. The instructor was 5-months pregnant and just off the plane from a Florida vacation, so she was a little rambly but very, very nice. Here's what we learned:. The state ...

My Dreams in Color
http://mydreamsincolor.blogspot.com/2008/06/heres-tonights-project.html
My Dreams in Color. Thursday, June 05, 2008. Here's tonight's project. It took about 3 hours. This is a sweater I got at the Thrift Store for 2.98(it may have been on sale, too, I can't remember). I turned it into a drawstring purse. Omg that bag is so cute! I looked at some of your other things, you work so well with crafts. Thrift stores are the best, you can always find great stuff. June 5, 2008 at 10:44 PM. Um I'd have worn the shirt! But the bag is very cute. August 28, 2008 at 11:38 AM.

My Dreams in Color: Some skirts
http://mydreamsincolor.blogspot.com/2008/06/some-skirts.html
My Dreams in Color. Tuesday, June 03, 2008. My Noah's Ark Skirt. From a Sheet bought at Goodwill. A lovely and bright batik skirt made from a Vogue pattern. I've worn it so much it is starting to fall apart. This is the back. I haven't actually worn this one yet. It was a smidge too tight, but I have lost a few lbs since then, so I should try it again. My famous Ugly skirt. Made from Sheets I found at Goodwill. I wish it still fit. This is made from a tablecloth from Target that I bought on clearance.

My Dreams in Color: 2009.01
http://mydreamsincolor.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
My Dreams in Color. Wednesday, January 07, 2009. I ran into a blog today called Embrace the Face. The idea is to do some artwork with a face based on a theme. The theme for January is Grow. I immediately had an idea. I will probably not add it to the website, but I had fun creating it. And I wrote a poem to go with it. And in my dreams. I hear your hearts. More Fun With Quilling. Above: a bird of my own design. Snowflake from a kit. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
