Working hard to play harder! Thursday, May 5, 2011. For a while I was living in two worlds, one was the post-apocalyptic Mojave Desert from Fallout: New Vegas and the other was real life. But, they connected when my dryer died, well, stopped putting out heat. I have a really old dryer, made in like the 60's, it is commonly known as the "halo of heat" because of the heating coil around the front of the drum. Working hard to play harder! Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Nearly Screwed a Brew! We found that adding honey would be a good option because yeast converts about 99% of honey into alcohol. I borrow his digital scale and got my old honey viscous again and poured 4.3lbs of Oregon wildflower honey, it should bring the OG back up to 1.060 (may need to recalc that) with a potential ABV of 3.5%. This past weekend I helped at a canine (has anyone noticed how K9 and canine mean the same thing but kinda bring up different connotations) agility competition. My role was to sit in the ring, not move, or make eye contact with the dogs, and reset or change the jumps. Especially when the small ones would rum up the teeter toter and scrunch down as it would slowly tip down the other way. Joe's dog leaving the weave obstacle. Dog going up narrow ramp.
