Lauren's Life Stitches: Pineapple Coasters
http://crochetstitches.blogspot.com/2009/10/pineapple-coasters.html
My Crocheting and random "stitches" of my life . It's been quite a while since I posted to this blog. I guess I sorta got burned out a little and needed to take a break from my crocheting. But I'm back again, doing smaller projects. :O). This is a work-in progress. It will be a set of pineapple coasters when finished. I still have to add little criss-cross stitching on the body of the pineapple. This is my own creation, and when I get this set finished, I will be adding the pattern on my website. Thumbel...

This is my first try at recording myself doing a song in American Sign Language. I just love the language. It's so beautiful and expressive. You raise me...

My Crocheting and random "stitches" of my life . Magazine, March 2009 issue. I finally finished the rug for my Mom's birthday! The pictures are when I blocked it and had it drying, but you can see how I did. I had it blocked on a foam board with towels over it, and this was the first time I tried to block anything. I'm really happy with how it came out! I can't wait to give it to her. Her birthday is Feb 25th, but we're celebrating on Sat, so I'll give it to her then. Close-up of the Flowers in the Center.

My Crocheting and random "stitches" of my life . Ballerina Puppet - Beginning. I'm testing a pattern for Laura's Left Hook. Of her Ballerina Puppet. I just love this pattern! She did a great job of writing it and it is very easy to follow so far. :O). I think my granddaughter will end up with this puppet. She's in a little preschool dance class and wears a little tutu. and looks adorable! No Grandma bias here. yeah, right! I'll post more as the project progresses. May 11, 2009 at 12:09 PM. Lauren's Life Stitches: Ballerina Puppet progress
http://crochetstitches.blogspot.com/2009/05/ballerina-puppet-progress.html
My Crocheting and random "stitches" of my life . Here's what I've done so far on the Ballerina Puppet pattern from Laura's Left Hook. The head and both arms are done, plus the little finger hole thing that goes inside the head. One half of the body is finished here. I still have to do the other half and the legs. Then put it together and finish off with the hair. The little ridge on the body is where I'll attach the tutu. I think it's going to be so cute! May 18, 2009 at 2:28 AM. Have a blessed day!

Freelance writer, editor, crochet designer. Saturday, February 28, 2009. Discovering the World of Netbooks. What’s a netbook, you ask? It’s the new mini notebook that is taking the computer industry by storm. What does this have to do with crochet? A lot, actually. With the smaller amount of memory a netbook has, I was also concerned whether it would be powerful enough to handle my Microsoft Office 2007 Professional suite, but I needn’t have worried. I installed it shortly after bringing the co...One wor...

Speaking With My Hands. My journey learning American Sign Language. ASL "Mansion Over the Hilltop" (PSE). This video is my addition to Brittany's Worship and Praise Sunday. This is in memory of my Dad, who graduated to Heaven in 2005. This song was a favorite of his, and mine as well. I'm satisfied with just a cottage below. A little silver and a little gold. But in that city where the ransomed will shine. I want a gold one that's silver lined. I've got a mansion just over the hilltop. FREE Highlighted K...

Crochet Stitches and Butterfly Kisses | A Yarn Tale
Crochet Stitches and Butterfly Kisses. Wordless Wednesday Garden Visitor. A new stitch learned. And a scarf for me! Off my hook 2014. August 16, 2015. Often the younger kids at the school I work at forget /loose a mitten or two. Just as often they only have one pair of thin gloves that just don’t dry out by second recess. So I’m using my odd balls of yarn to make mittens (and some scarves). Our mascot is the Lion. I’m making mittens to keep those little paws warm! I found a nice basic pattern. A friend o...
