Monday, August 27, 2012. First Day of 1st Grade. It has been about two weeks since Jack's first day of school and he's been doing great! I was nervous with him being gone all day now and wondered if he'd come home exhausted or starving, but he walks in ready to play and quickly answers my questions about how his day was. We pack a lunch to bring from home since he's one picky kid, but he has decided he'd like to get hot lunch next time they serve pizza! The first day was rough on one brother for sure!

Stan and Jake had to go outside and make a trench so the water would go away from the house. The front of the house does not have rain gutters so the water just collects next to the house.
