Flowers for Freedom is inspired by the work of Ai Wei Wei, an artist and activist who protests in China – one way is through the use of flowers. You can read more about it over here. A google search of ‘sunset nails’ reveals that this is a popular design that has been repeated by many people, each putting their own spin on it. This is just my interpretation.
