My buddy Dan Dermody called me tonight to tell me that Jeffrey and Stephanie's son Alex, only 13-years old, was killed Sunday in a 4-wheeler accident. I never got the pleasure to meet Alex, but if he was anything like his dad, I would have liked him very, very much. Sounds like a lot of sadness. I am sorry to hear this.

It was a great time getting to know more of the young people and their friends who go to our church. I was really encouraged to see the level of maturity that some of these kids have.
