Happy 3rd Heart Transplanniversary to our sweet girl! But for some reason greater than I know, she was granted this second chance. I remember calling Gilly to give him the news late on the night of the 5th and I laugh at how short our phone call actually was with such big news! I am leaving you with a gift- peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn't like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid." John 14:27. Oh how we had missed the sound of her voice and her giggles for so long.

Yes, this post has been 3/4 finished since some time in January. don't laugh! Better late than never, right? I want to share the fun we had at Christmas so then I can continue to share our good times for this year. We began our Christmas season with a trip to the Christmas parade in Dallas again. Last year we were lucky enough to go just a couple months after Ry's transplant. She loved it then and did again this year! It's at just the right time of the season too, it triggers all the fun yet to come!

This year Easter was beautiful! The weather was great, we were able to spend time with family and had a fun Easter party with Rylynn's classmates. We'll start with the party we were happy to host here at the house. At First Baptist they let the kids have an off-campus Easter party so that each class can have a fun egg hunt and enjoy their friends. With help from all the parents we had a great time. Bright and early egg hunt before church. This is how well Rylynn cooperates for pictures. Valentines Party ...

July 21 will always be a date on the calendar that we remember. We do not dwell on those hard days and all the memories that come with them, but it's healthy to reflect on each part of Rylynn's story. The one that got us to where we are. Now our home is full of life and happiness. We are so blest. Beyond what we hoped for two years ago. Beyond what we had hoped for when we found out we were expected our first child. Rio~Loco: Oh how I've missed you!
http://andreariojas.blogspot.com/2014/08/oh-how-ive-missed-you.html
Oh how I've missed you! It's been so long since I last logged on to my blog account that I was afraid I wouldn't be able to remember my password. But lo and behold they still let me on! I have sincerely missed sharing all the happy things going on in our house. It has been a happy year here in South Texas. Medically speaking things have been stable with Rylynn and she's growing into a fun little girl. Now to elaborate on it all! We have settled about 300 miles South of Lampasas! They make a great pair...

A good start to the new year! Ry had a clinic appt on the 4th. She did great as always. Her labs were just where they needed to be with very little change, her echo looked good and Dr. Fixler was happy with her growth. A couple of things worth noting:. After 2 years of a middle of the night med doses, we're all done! Yes, just three times a day! She LOVES being a part of it! I have to say it was also fun to WIN this year! I forgot how fun it was. Whoop! So here's what we have to show for a little trip to...

We are thrilled to have received a good biopsy result late yesterday. Ry scored a zero. This is wonderful news and makes us a little more easy about the high wedge pressure. We are hoping to be discharged late today after her evening dose of IV antibiotics. Thanks for continuing to check in on us. This will have to be rather short, as I did not pack the laptop for this trip so my iphone will have to do. Yesterday's cath also yielded really high wedge pressures. This is the number we've struggled with...

A Wonderful Busy Normal Life. I love to report that we've been too busy for me to sit down and post. We've been busy outside, we been busy attending birthday parties, we've been busy with our everyday life. And I literally am thankful for every moment of our crazy days. Here's her daily med box. Ry knows the drill and obliges. She helped me every bit of the way. Her new most favorite past time outside is to water something, anything! She watered a few flowers, filled her "water tank" and washed rocks!

So I won't embarass ourselves by saying how long it's been since Gilly and I have had a real date night. The kind where you sleep in a different town than your child. The kind where you don't have to wake up at 3am for meds. But this past weekend we had our chance! Ry did great while we were gone, but we did receive this text at about 8pm on Saturday night. Mimi says they made a quick recovery as they began her bedtime routine, but Ry just wants to make sure she keeps everyone in check! He picks on her a...
