Dacorum Charity Shield - Home
The competition was originally a knock out between clubs in the Dacorum Area. It started in 1999 and was sponsored by the Dacorum Borough Council. In 2004 the Council stopped sponsoring the trophy and the clubs decided they would be willing to pay an entry fee to cover the sponsorship. The trophy was not played for in 2007 as there was little support for the knock out method of running the competition. The Home of Diving. Dacorum Diving Club (DDC) is one of only two competitive diving clubs in Hertfordshire, based at SportSpace, Park Road, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 1JS. The club currently has 30 children on it's Learn to Dive Program and around 55 full members from age 8 to 80 many of whom regularly compete in a wide range of competitions locally, nationally and also abroad.
