My Listening Heart: December 2010
http://mylisteningheart.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 19, 2010. Daily Journal - Special Christmas Edition. Yesterday was a simply wonderful day. It started off with a quick trip to pick up a couple of gift cards, but not any old gift cards! These gift cards are each worth a one hour massage from our favorite therapist, Renita! After getting the cards I picked up my 89 year old mama. Yep - I'm 60. She's 89. I still call her mama! I'm a southern girl. Yes, I am. Once they were through looking, no decisions nor offers were made but it sure wou...

My Listening Heart: July 2010
http://mylisteningheart.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 19, 2010. For Today - July 19, 2010 - Monday. It's partly sunny. Squirrels are playing in the trees and are running on the fences. And a snake is underneath house. Apparently one did not get the memo that don't want any snakes near the house. There was one 2' - 3' long sunning on a shelf near the kitchen steps. He was fairly skinny, and dark. He was lumpy so I'm guessing he had been snacking on skinks? Snakes never were very good at following rules, were they? Was buggered up over that!

My Listening Heart: November 2010
http://mylisteningheart.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 28, 2010. For Today - November 28, 2010 - Sunday. It is dark. I usually blog in the morning but I'm waiting to do a wee bit of Cyber Monday shopping. I would have thought it would be 11 PM Central time. . . . but I think I'm wrong. Anyway - it's dark outside and it's been cold. It seems to me we have an entirely too long summer and way too short autumn. Sometimes it seems as if we go straight from summer to winter! That it's been a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with lots of family here.

http://amandasoils.blogspot.com/2011/04/getting-started-what-are-essential-oils.html
Getting Started: What Are Essential Oils? Essential Oils: A History. There are 188 references to essential oils in the Bible. Oils such as frankincense, myrrh, rosemary, hyssop, and spikenard were used for anointing and healing the sick. In Exodus, the Lord gave the following recipe to Moses for "an holy anointing oil":. Myrrh ("five hundred shekels" - approximately 1 gallon). Sweet Cinnamon ("two hundred and fifty shekels" - approximately 1/2 gallon). Sweet Calamus ("two hundred and fifty shekels").

Amanda's Essential Oil Blog: Essential Oils: My First Experience
http://amandasoils.blogspot.com/2011/04/essential-oils-my-first-experience.html
Essential Oils: My First Experience. That hot summer in Houston was my last great attempt at anything remotely athletic. Both of my cousins are athletic people. My brother and I are not. But playing baseball builds character, right? Was my first experience with essential oils. The nectar inside that aloe vera plant, the soothing juicy stuff that left my skin feeling soothed, that's. Try this at home: Squeeze the peel of a ripe orange. The fragrant residue on your hand is full of essential oils. Is the es...
