In Sam's Words
http://www.samworleymusic.com/insamswords5.html
Musician, Teacher, Storyteller. I want to dedicate these on-going stories to the people who shared and enriched my life in the early days, who made up my first musical experience: Jim Manry, Jack Glenn, Robert Grady, Hugh Dobbins, Lewis Sams. Although we had been friends practically since birth, the music brought us together in new ways, creating life-long bonds that can never be broken. Also I am forever grateful to Susie Mae Rainey for the inexpressible gifts she gave me with her Being. June 23, 2012.

Many of Blind Willie’s songs are highly pornographic and this first song, Red River Valley, as well as the song Rose of No Man's Land (Red Cross Nurse), carried a poignant and delicate sadness to the listener. A far as I know neither were ever recorded by him. Willi...
