Saturday, March 30, 2013. Flat Stanley Visits Bolivia for Rosa, March 2013. Flat Stanley came to see us in Bolivia. We took him to Tarija where he saw the Macaus. He saw the big church in a little town near Tarija. He visited a winery. Lots of empty wine bottles. He looked at the old wine press. He went out into the vineyard where the grapes grow. These are the casks they put the wine in after it is pressed. This is the house by the winery. Under the grape arbor. This is the wine store. Vines on the house.

Monday, December 31, 2012. People Watching in Bolivia. Every culture has a special take on life. We are fascinated by the people here, how they live, what they do, how they get along in this third world country. Life is centered around the plaza in the center of town. Siesta time is to gather, eat, share the news and go home and rest. The indispensable aguayo. Their "purses" carry more than ours do! The beauty these people possess is amazing. After all, they are father Lehi´s children! I love watching th...
