The ramblings of a film obsessive. Kick-Ass - 2010 GB/US d:Matthew Vaughn. A truly superior action bonanza of a film! Teen film, action, tragedy, gore, comedy.this film takes them all on and more and comes up with a gold star on the other side. Brilliant script, exceptional performances, some of the best gunplay scenes I've witnessed since Hardboiled. Back in 1992, often breath-taking camera work, and a step into 3-D comics rendering that fits the film and puts the risible anime sequence in Kill Bill.
