Vintage Gasket Art

Vintage vehicles and copper gaskets. Each of these artworks is finished in one of my own handmade Rimu frames. Each vehicles is scratched from black scraper board using a knife blade, this reveals the white underneath so forming the picture,or rendered in ink, a genuine vintage copper head gasket from the featured vehicle is hand polished and glued in place, finally each is covered in protective glass so comes ready to hang. Model T Fords- $175. Model A Fords -$175. Ford V8, 1932,34,35,36 -$175.

Other Pen and Ink artwork. I guess this page is a little bit of everything as far as subject matter goes. Old Wellington buildings, the cable car, animals, flowers, fishing, what ever I find interesting . These drawings are mounted, with a forest green matt or black if more appropriate, and protected under non reflective glass, and of course are framed in one of my handmade recycled wood frames and are ready to hang. 470mm x 350mm overall size , $65.00 each. I seem to need a new page just for my paintings, these are in various mediums and I will keep updating. Gouache painting of my vintage cars, As most of my paintings are commissioned pieces I wanted an example of my work on hand so painted a subject I was happy to have hanging around.
