http://wwwsaraleys.blogspot.com/2011/09/labor-day.html
We never know the love of the parent till we become parents ourselves." Author: Henry Ward Beecher. Monday, September 5, 2011. We spent Labor Day weekend visiting Mark's Mom and Day. The weather wasn't the greatest but the kids didn't seem to mind. They still had a great time playing at the beach. Its always a great way for us to end the summer with one final trip to the beach. We made it to the top! Taking in the view with Nana and Grandpa Leys. The tower we hiked. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Mark was fortunate to have the chance to go visit his brother, Paul, out in California for the weekend as well as attend a Packer football game in San Diego. With him being gone for 3 days my parents helped me out with keeping the kids busy. Thanks Nana and Grandpa for the special outing! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Almost 5 years old.

We never know the love of the parent till we become parents ourselves." Author: Henry Ward Beecher. Monday, August 22, 2011. Feel like this picture captures our week. Low key, relaxing, and warm weather of whole-some family fun :). The best picture of the 3 of these kiddos after about 25 attempts. Lindsey enjoying some tubbing. Everywhere we went we came across Green Bay Packer stuff. The boys thought it was pretty cool as did Mark too. Zachary spent hours perfecting his diving skills off the raft.

News from the Nydams: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
http://jnydam.blogspot.com/2009/01/merry-christmas-and-happy-new-year.html
News from the Nydams. A peek at our lives. Monday, January 5, 2009. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! They would watch them out the window as the reindeer's heads bobbed up and down, and would ask to go out and see them all the time. We thought it was pretty cute. One of the favorite activities was to play with the manger set from Great-Grandma Nydam the previous Chrismas. They learned most of the names of the characters, and while the angel was the favorite, the wise men were a little confusing. The k...

News from the Nydams. A peek at our lives. Monday, July 28, 2008. Finally a Family Cabin Weekend. The Indian peaks in the background - this is why you want to come visit. The wildflowers were in bloom, and Elsie wanted to smell them all. We found the tree that we carved our initials in 12 years ago - if you look closely, you can see:. Rocks, rocks, rocks - the favorite activity and Jess's favorite word. So happy to be running around outside. Poppie passing on the tradition to the next generation. The box...

News from the Nydams. A peek at our lives. Saturday, March 29, 2008. Although the babies are in the midst of their first real colds, they were smiley for most of the day. You wouldn't know it from these pictures, though. That's because sometimes they refuse to smile for the camera and then crack up when you put it away. I have to say though, I don't think I fully appreciated how difficult it is to keep kids' faces snot-free before. Friday, March 28, 2008. Elsie and Jess (the ones you really care about):.

News from the Nydams: Happy Easter!
http://jnydam.blogspot.com/2009/04/happy-easter.html
News from the Nydams. A peek at our lives. Wednesday, April 15, 2009. The kids opened their Easter baskets before church, and each had a different response. Elsie did not want to disturb anything in her basket, while Jess inhaled most of his candy within the first 10 minutes. Claire sampled hers, but saved most for later. The classic bath photo. The trio on the swing. Just playing outside at the park was one of the favorite activities. April 17, 2009 at 2:11 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://jnydam.blogspot.com/2009/01/happy-birthday-elsie-and-jess-two-two.html
News from the Nydams. A peek at our lives. Friday, January 16, 2009. Happy second birthday - Two Two year olds! As we say around here, "Wow dude! Here I'm trying to show him how fun it is to change his clothes, which brought more looks like, "Come on, Mommy." He did seem a bit more excited to open his soccer set and tool bench. But Elsie likes to play with those toys just as much - interesting. The finished product - we were worried they wouldn't let us eat it at first. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

News from the Nydams: September 2008
http://jnydam.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
News from the Nydams. A peek at our lives. Sunday, September 21, 2008. Last night I gave the kids some sour cream to dip their quesadillas in, because they get really excited to dip their food. However, Elsie seemed to find sour cream to be very similar to lotion (she does like to eat lotion too.). Jess looking over at Elsie, thinking "Oh, that's what you do with it. I thought we were just supposed to eat it and put a little bit on our faces.". August and September Family Time. What cracks me up about th...
