Deelightfully Different: December 2008

http://www.deelightfullydifferent.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

Monday, December 29, 2008. Can you believe it? I can't. It seemed to fly by quickly. It was a busy time, and if I was being honest, it was not relaxing. But, even though it was hectic, we still found time to have fun and appreciate the season. I can say that next year, I will work harder to slow down and manage my time better! For now, here are some pictures from our holiday. Because dogs celebrate Christmas too! Although I left her gifts at Vicki's house! Sitting down to dinner. It was yummy! Christian&...

Deelightfully Different: June 2009

http://www.deelightfullydifferent.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html

Thursday, June 25, 2009. Here are the top 10 things that I learned on my first camping excursion last weekend. 10 You should check and make sure you have enough tents before the day you actually go camping. 9 You should not get up the morning of your camping trip and realize that your children have nothing to sleep on. 8 When camping at the lake, the bug spray "OFF-Skintastic" just does not cut it. You must have something industrial like "Ultra Deep Woods OFF". It was SO hot! Sunday, June 21, 2009. We ha...

Deelightfully Different: Diving!

http://www.deelightfullydifferent.blogspot.com/2009/08/diving.html

Monday, August 17, 2009. After 20 plus years and almost constant nagging by my father and Tim. I have decided to attempt to get certified to dive. And I'm taking my first born child with me. I'm cautiously optimistic that this may happen. I tend to be high maintenance in situations like this so we'll have to see. The instructor says that Brady is a "natural". He did not say that about me. Big shock. You mean breathing underwater is not natural? But are we really surprised that Brady can do this well?

Dr. Mom's Blog: Happy 5th Birthday, our precious Mattthew!

http://diprimafamily.blogspot.com/2008/08/blog-post_3131.html

Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Happy 5th Birthday, our precious Mattthew! I know, I know.this slide show is just TONS of pictures, but I wanted to capture much of Matthew's little life. Unfortunately, I didn't have a digital camera for his first two years, so I had to take pictures of my scrapbook. I enjoyed going "back in time" and see how he has grown. He readily gives hugs, kisses, or a helping hand if needed. He is obedient (most of the time! Compliant, and has such a sweet disposition about him. I am so ...

Saturday, September 20, 2008. A few weeks after meeting Susan, I was talking to our former neighbor who had moved out of her house last summer after she got married. She told me a family would be moving in next door.with 4 kids! Kathy is such a wonderful, nurturing Christian mother and wife, and has also become a good friend in the past month. We feel so blessed to have such great neighbors.and permanent playmates for our kids! Wow- the Lord certainly answered our prayers! I have learned so much from Nao...

Dr. Mom's Blog: Happy Birthday, Richard!

http://diprimafamily.blogspot.com/2008/10/happy-birthday-richard.html

Monday, October 6, 2008. Happy Birthday, Richard! You can tell Matthew has learned to read phonetically.this says "I LUV YUW DADE." He even put a line over the "u" so it would be the 'long u' sound! He said the picture was of himself and his Daddy walking down the road. Matthew wanted to show off some of his math work on Daddy's card.he messed up on the first "4 4", so he did it again.he's so proud of knowing his math facts! So glad they were washable markers! Happy 37th Birthday, Richard! Anyway- we've ...

Dr. Mom's Blog: July 2008

http://diprimafamily.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html

Saturday, July 26, 2008. No way, not me! In my wildest dreams, I never thought I would ever even consider running for exercise, a hobby, sport, or anything else, but especially not in a real race. Well, my dear hubby has done this in the past, and has a new found desire to get back into running.and take me along with him! I still need to get my time down by about 4 minutes, but it was a good "beginning runner" time, I'm told! Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize?

Dr. Mom's Blog: May 2008

http://diprimafamily.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 28, 2008. I love my husband. I just want to take a moment to really be thankful for my husband. I think so many times we all just go through the motions of parenting, running a household, and the routine of life, and we often forget to celebrate the lives of the ones we love. After 10 years of dating. Richard always seems to make the kids feel special in their own ways, and he shows patience with them (that I often don't have! They LOVE their Daddy! Thank you, Lord, for my precious husband!

Wednesday, November 5, 2008. November 5, 2008. The king's heart is like channels of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He wishes." (Proverbs 21:1). While the world applauds Mr. Obama's election, and European leaders are quoted as saying his election is a "new deal for a new world," and Mr. Obama himself said in his victory speech last night "a new dawn of American leadership is at hand," neither his presidency nor Mr. McCain's presidency, had he been elected, will be our hope...God is bi...
