http://livingconundrum.blogspot.com/2011/01/legacy.html
Thursday, January 20, 2011. These past few weeks, my life has been pervaded by the word, " legacy. Last week, particularly, the word "legacy" came to the forefront of my mind because we remembered Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Last week, everyone posted different quotes from Dr. King. I read them, and the quotes caused me to consider what my legacy actually is personally and professionally. As I read Dr. King's " Letter From Birmingham Jail. V City of Birmingham. livingconundrum: Thinking Out Loud
http://livingconundrum.blogspot.com/2011/02/thinking-out-loud.html
Monday, February 28, 2011. Okay, this is a big moment. I don't think I've been this self-revelatory.ever. Let's see how this goes. Whatever the program, it's not edifying- either too violent, too sexually suggestive, or too stupid. And, being reminded of the command in Proverbs 4:23. I need to hold fast to my purity, not just physically, but mentally, and emotionally. So, what's a guy to do? Well, I am learning to cling to Psalm 37:5. Will you pray with me and for me about this? Some Places I Visit.

Friday, April 1, 2011. It seems like we don't want to keep score in ballgames because we want to protect the children. Yet, sometimes, keeping score is what we need to do. Why? So we can learn from the experiences. There are times when the score says you lost. Yet, even in losing, one can learn. However, what about not keeping score in other things in life? Like when your spouse does something that offends you. Do you keep score? Is there a mental tally? When do you discuss this ledger of wrongs?

Friday, January 21, 2011. We are told in Psalm 118:1, " Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever. Today, I want to give thanks to the Lord because he is good. There are so many things to share, but I wanted to highlight a couple of friends who have been, to borrow from Ephesians 3:20, " infinitely more than I could dare to ask or hope for. It has been a great week of sharpening by some friends who have lived out Proverbs 27:17 in my life. Last week, particularly,...

Monday, July 18, 2011. My girlfriend and I have started a devotional together, appropriately named, Devotions for Dating Couples. I love that she wants to be join me in sharing God's Word together. It has been beneficial for both of us. We just finished a week on simplicity, which is never long enough. The week before that was on God's Word. Every time I read about the need for abiding in God's word. First, how do I know God's will? His will is found in the word. So, how do you get started? Pick a good b...

Sunday, March 14, 2010. To say that the righteous (or just) shall live by faith does not mean that they live by blind and irresponsible leaps in total absence, or even in defiance, of knowledge. It does not mean that the just live in a state of ignorance or stupidity. Dallas Willard, Knowing Christ Today. Lets see if this works again. Friday, March 12, 2010. I hope that I'm living these steps out in my life. I have picked up Thomas Kelly's book, A Testament of Devotion. 4 Submit to God.

http://livingconundrum.blogspot.com/2011/02/what-if.html
Friday, February 11, 2011. Maybe it's because I feel like I have some "down" mental time. Maybe it's because I want to procrastinate. Either way, I just starting wondering about a lot of "What If" questions in life. What if I studied theology in undergrad? What if I had pursued an education degree instead of communications? What if I had not bothered with law school? What if I am in the wrong profession? What if I'm in the right place? What if I hadn't bought my house? What if I was more humble? 8220; Th...

Wednesday, December 30, 2009. It cannot be overemphasized that where the cross of Jesus is not exalted and proclaimed as the central act in all of history and in our own redemption, the church is not present.
