Plainfields Best Kept Secret. 2016 Work Parties run from 8 am - 12 pm unless otherwise noted. Meet in the clubhouse at 8:00 am for work parties. Be sure to sign the work party book to be credited for your time. If working gate duty, sign the work party sheet in the gatehouse. Please note that deer hunters and waterfowl hunters need to check with the appropriate director regarding any other work parties needed in order to hunt. Welcome to Deer Creek Ranch. In Summer 2006, the Chu Family purchased an additional 15 acres adjacent to the ranch. This addition included complete ownership of Deer Creek Lane as well as a 2500 sq. ft. house. The Guest House required extensive remodeling and was completed in Spring 2007. With a number of ongoing projects underway, the Chu Family is looking forward to the day when they can just hang their hats and relax at the ranch.
