Monday, August 3, 2015. My first Tea Party! So Lillian got a sweet tea set for her birthday and we broke it out for a balcony tea party while Jackson was at camp. Our neighbor Julia was invited and we had goldfish, graham crackers and yogurt raisins. The water was extra delicious! We then decided to set up a barista station with a pretend coffee maker. One Boy and Two Cats. Tuesday, September 3, 2013. School started 28 days ago, and I am 28 days behind on my sleep. I'm not even sure I could catch you up on what we did with the end of our summer. I'm too tired to remember. This is the boy's last year of Middle School, so I may have had a "moment" after dropping him off that first day. He is changing and growing so fast it makes my head spin. I know all moms say that about all kids in every stage, but these time are mind-numbing for me. Make that 2 things.

We can drag out a birthday. In sanity's defense, they haven't all been real honest-to-goodness parties. One celebration was dinner with grandparents; another was doughnuts at school. A woman on the verge of something. Friday, July 25, 2014. We Got a Puppy! She is a purebred, American Bull dog puppy with the sweetest face and the most beautiful coloring. I swore up and down and all around that I would NEVER, EVER get another puppy but low and behold, we have ourselves a puppy! So far, she is pretty smart and easy going. She loves to play with the kids, chew on shoes and sleep at your feet. We are excited about having a dog around again. She is a great addition so far! Brought to you by.

We always try to make an ornament for our tree. This year we painted premade Christmas trees that had places for the kids picture in the center. The kids got out of school early a couple of times since our football team went to the state playoffs. They ended up getting beaten in Tuscaloosa, but the kids were rooting for them all the way!
