Wednesday, July 05, 2006. The Big Fat Indonesian Wedding. Just recently my cousin got married and had the reception in an auditorium in of of the sckycrapers in the center of Jakarta the Metropolitan city. Just like a regular big wedding of Indonesian, we had more than 700 hundred people( in my estimation) and a numerous variety of food and frutis. Wednesday, May 17, 2006. It is my first day back in my hometown, Jakarta, Indonesia. I am still re-adjusting with the lifestyle I have missed for three and a half years. Loma Linda is a world of its own for me, but I consider it as home. Some stuff I can only find in Loma Linda such as :. A lot of people go walking for exercise. Easy access to find a variety of vegie meat and other healthy food options. A quiet town on Saturdays. Some changes that I am still having a hard time to get use to:.

I am enjoying the second year in the school, not only because the community has got to know me better, but also the changes in the school has started to show positive result. I am more convinced that God really wants me to be in this school at the moment. Looking back a couple of years ago, I understand why the were no doors opened for me in California.
