He got called to be 2nd counselor in Young Men's and coaches the YM's basketball team which is fun. The YM have campouts every month though! So we'll see how that goes! Wowie Does Time Fly!

Moved From Coast to Coast. Monday, October 24, 2011. We are getting settled in here in Utah. So far so good. Mia has started preschool and is enjoying it. We have loved playing with cousins on a regular basis. The girls and I are exploring all that Utah has to offer. We went to Gardner Village last week with my sister Megan who is only 40 minutes away now. Hooray! Next week we close on our house which we are super excited about. Pictures to come :). http://ouztsinthesouth.blogspot.com/2010/09/pinewood-derby.html
Ouzts in the South. Sunday, September 26, 2010. Here is "Carter's" pinewood derby car/truck. It is an Elders Qourum activity that is opened to the whole ward and the only rules is no open flames allowed. It was a fun activity and Carter had fun racing his car. He won a trophy for best design. He was happy he got a trophy and didn't care about winning. That's good I guess. Jon, Sue, Carter and Hannah. I love his design! Did he paint it? Buy it like that? The Vickers Family: Veteran's Day
http://dukecityvickers.blogspot.com/2013/11/veterans-day.html
Monday, November 11, 2013. I'm thankful to all those who serve our country. My dad has so many inspiring stories. I'm sure he would gladly remove the war from his life; but I wish everyone could know the courage, faith, and endurance he showed. There were so many miracles; so many times his life was preserved. I'm proud of my dad for serving his country. His scarred up leg will forever be a reminder of the strong soldier and man he was and is. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Critters Around our House.

The Vickers Family: Surviving
http://dukecityvickers.blogspot.com/2013/10/surviving.html
Sunday, October 6, 2013. Here's the latest and greatest from the Vickers clan. My ribs finally feel like they are healing. At first when I was adjusted it felt like hot fire. It was so painful! Then, a month later, Mark shared the viral flu with me. Oh the agony! My neighbor gave me a breathy thing, (she's a nurse) and upon seeing how little I could get the blue thing up said I had "smokers lungs." Now I can get it up to 2000, but I still have 500 more to go before Wednesday. Critters Around our House.
