Saturday, September 24, 2011. The long road home. And I mean long! Well after a few days back in Paris with even less funds than expected (thanks Ryanair). A few light meals of €3 sandwhiches (breaky lunch and dinner), another issue with an airline (Air asia's new "Paris, we sting you money wherever we can" policy on our boards -newly introduced for Paris only flights excess of €20 per board - just another one to dispute on my long list of complaint emails! At least there's waves on the way home though!

So after returning from overseas late last year I've now relocated to the other side of Melbourne, starting the inevitable next stage of my career in Graphic design in the big smoke of Melbourne city. Yes I have sold out, but hey, a man's gotta make a living. Advantage, I'm only 45-50mins away from some decent Bodyboarding setups, free from the crowds of my old local 13th beach. Vic West Coast;. Enjoying a luxury apartment on the gold coast with my girl, a solid sleep, a drink of water, a shower and of course the good ol' auzzie meat pie! Monday, January 16, 2012. 2011 - Not a bad year - final wrap up. Racking up 192 surfs, just a little short on my record for one year (282 in 2005). Yet the time I spent in the water was up, by a long shot! Only working a little more than 6 months of the year, let me spend plenty of time doing what I love most. So after a big few days of competition finally got myself down south with Dane Pope and Grant Malony for a free-surfing sesh.
