Krieger Family Blog: 7 Weeks!
http://jennikrieger.blogspot.com/2015/05/7-weeks.html
Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Give me all the sugar! This pregnancy seems similar to the others.minus the crazy cravings already! I distinctly remember apple-juice-by-the-gallon with Jack and eating everything-and-anything with Kate. This time, I want a lemon poppyseed muffin for breakfast and pancakes for dinner. We haven't said anything to the kiddos.I'm trying to think of a creative way to let them know they'll both be a big brother and big sister! Although I am nauseous all day long, I can't help but smil...

Krieger Family Blog: Oh the places you'll go...
http://jennikrieger.blogspot.com/2014/04/oh-places-youll-go.html
Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Oh the places you'll go. I think we end up with a handful of papers from school every. single. day. I love looking at them and am sad to say I am getting better at throwing things away! For the first few weeks I became a hoarder and was proud of every line of crayon Jack drew. Now, I can figure out what he simply colored during a free choice time and toss it! If I wouldn't have done this we may have needed a storage unit for Jack's preschool alone}. None other than a DOCTOR! I pro...

Krieger Family Blog: Summer Successes
http://jennikrieger.blogspot.com/2015/06/summer-successes.html
Thursday, June 25, 2015. 1 2 am pee trips. I know.this sounds terrible, right? But nothing says officially potty trained than your 2-year-old stammering out of her room, announcing she needs to pee, and then heading straight back to her bed. It's the most adorable little moment ever. "Have to go potty, stop and go right away mommy. Daniel Tiger says" - Kate. 3 Pool pass. GENIUS! 4 Mathlete, Diva, and Athlete? Maybe he won't search for butterflies during t-ball practice and won't be describing the cloud f...

Krieger Family Blog: June 2014
http://jennikrieger.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 4, 2014. This summer has already been one for the books, and we're only a few days into our first week at home together. Jack and Kate play so well together and it's adorable to just sit and watch. Still super chill, although her little attitude is starting to show if she doesn't get her way. The benefit of being kiddo #2 - we don't freak out when she does, we just wait and laugh. Sure enough, within seconds she moves on to something else rather than continue to cry. Whew!

Krieger Family Blog: March 2014

Sunday, March 23, 2014. 1 It doesn't get any better than a few days in the hot sun without a schedule.oh and a Miami Vice in my hand at. all. times. Eric mixed it up trying a ton of the drinks. I found the strawberry daiquiri/pina colada mix and never swayed from it again. 3 I have always claimed to hate reading. Off the Chicago Airport's Book stand and decided what's the worst that could happen? 4 Eric is amazing. It was fun to spend time just ourselves - no kiddies, no schedules, and no work. W...6 No ...

Krieger Family Blog: I don't ever want to forget...
http://jennikrieger.blogspot.com/2015/06/i-dont-ever-want-to-forget.html
Tuesday, June 9, 2015. I don't ever want to forget. Why hello, week 14 and a half. I feel like myself. Selfishly - I almost forget I'm pregnant at this stage in the game. Goodbye yuck. Hello, MAGIC. There are things about pregnancy that only happen during this wonderful stage of life. I vow to embrace, remember, and enjoy. Literally I am so proud of my growing bump these days. Beats the sugary fizz of pop any day. especially in this 90 degree summer weather. And, I've stopped counting how many Claussen j...

Krieger Family Blog: {Jack & Kate}
http://jennikrieger.blogspot.com/2014/03/jack-kate.html
Thursday, March 13, 2014. I heard birds chirping. That can only mean one thing / hello spring. Well, sort of. One time, I rode on a train. And I brought my friends. Didn't I, Mom? Jack is starting to tell little stories about things he's done - and honestly things he wishes he could do. It's adorable and scary at the same time! Where has the time gone? Books / We love books. Every night, Jack counts in Spanish how many books he wants to read. Normally, it's uno, dos, tres. Last night it was all t...Yeah,...

Krieger Family Blog: November 2013
http://jennikrieger.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 2, 2013. Sit and wait.and do a potty dance. I have to be honest, people, I truly wasn't sure we'd jump over this hurdle. I mean sure, Jack can talk in full sentences, can usually tell you what day it is, and has an uncanny ability to understand emotion and feelings in books and movies already. However, going pee on the potty was a seemingly insurmountable task. It goes in the toilet. Jack is potty trained. I am convinced this may be one of the greatest, most challenging, and most rewar...
