After the rich and creamy Chocolate-Mascarpone Cheesecake, the Buttermilk Scones were a kind of break, a lovely interlude. The recipe was really easy and very quick, with just some ingredients, usual equipments, and a sleight of hand! The Buttermilk Scones were perfect for a gourmet breakfast (or a nice tea-time), lightly toasted with an orange marmalade. Wonderful! Breads, Rolls and Co.

http://mymomsfilebox.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
My Mom's Recipe Box. Monday, June 20, 2011. Didn't know that having some teeth pulled would put me out of sorts for awhile. Did bake these sugar cookies before I went to the dentist, but never got it the recipe or pictures on until now. Also a down size is that it is too hot to bake and heat up a kitchen.
