This summer has been the first summer that I actually had vacation time to use (guilt-free vacation time.grad school carried the "one week per summer" allowance, but also lots of guilt). And since my Texas trip counted as work and not vacation, I got to have more fun! So two weeks ago, I took a week off of work and played. I really didn't even know the final details of where I'd be when until last-minute. I drove almost 1000 miles in one week.
