Sunday, September 18, 2011. Clara was at a sleepover, and Chad was out of town, so Trev and I made the best of it. Camp coffee, take-out, and a gorgeous walk around a dark and silent neighborhood. Trevi even invented a new reflector, using his petzl and the lid of his Tinkertoys bin. Good times. And a little gem for the out-of-the-mouths-of-babes file:. Thursday, October 4, 2012. We have two random furlough days this week, and even though I'm desperately busy getting ready for parent-teacher conferences, it would be wrong to not take at least a little break to enjoy the gorgeous weather. We headed to the beach for a picnic lunch, a little frisbee, and a lot of staring out at the ocean. Um, and taking pictures. I can't help myself when I'm at the beach. A quick stop at Pastorino's on the way home fulfilled our Pumpkin Patch duty for the year. :).

Even thought it was almost a month ago that we told her, every now and then, she'll just get this dejected look on her face and say, "There's no Santa." Saturday, July 25, 2015. Sojo just came to me and said that I needed to come out and take a photo of her. That type of request is not typical, so I knew it had to do with her new best friend, Shadow. We are just curious about the towel under him. Worried about an accident? For us, that is the best part of having a dog like this- all the fun without the early morning walks and poop pickup. We are so happy for her and totally love this type of dog. No poop, no fur.just love. Love, Popo.

Saturday, November 29, 2014. The trip was great for the kids as there was pretty instant gratification in finding the roses. Once you dug about waist deep, you could feel around with your fingers and wedge them out. They are pretty fabulous to see. Monday, July 27, 2015. Dude Ranch and Ten Years. We celebrated our ten-year anniversary this past week, and my brother hooked us up with a night at a fabulous dude ranch here in Tucson. It was absolutely stunning and nestled right into the mountains. The casita itself was exactly what Dale and I would love to live in- small but not too small and with tons of Mexican touches to it.
